BOARD AND MANAGERIAL STRUCTURE

 

INTRODUCTION

 

Lanevision is comprised of a board of directors with three executive directors, as well as two committees, namely an audit and risk committee and a remuneration committee. The company is managed by executive directors, executive managers and management staff.

Operational matters are managed with this function reporting to an executive management committee (EXCO) which meets on a monthly basis. Consolidated reports from these meetings are escalated to the board which meets every three months. The company’s subsidiaries are also managed, reporting into their own individual and unique boards and executive committees from where the reporting is escalated to the main executive committee. These committees also meet on a monthly basis. The executive committees take ownership of all operational matters and initiates policies, procedures and financial controls in their individual companies or business units.

Lanevision is managed on the basis of transparency, empowering executives, management and staff, and with a strong emphasis on responsibility and accountability

EXECUTIVE DIRECTORS


 

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, JUSTIN PELSER

Justin began his working career at Kagisano Financial Services in November 2007 after completing external courses in Business management, Sales and Excellence as well as obtaining a certificate from IT Intellect International Training Solutions.

Kagisano Financial Services was sold to Blue Financial Services and Justin was appointed as one of the Directors of Hands on Executive Finance (Pty) Ltd who assists clients with poor credit record with personal/micro loans, credit applications, financing, mobile contracts, credit life insurance and bond originating through various Credit Providers in South Africa. In June 2011 Justin decided to pursue a career with the ex-management of Kagisano and became a National Account Manager within the Waxbill Capital Group to focus on cost of acquisition, to maximize profitability, increase walk-in business, manage variable expenditure with-in approved budget and to handle the stakeholder relationships.

        

Justin resigned in November 2013 and is now an Executive Director at PFR Consultants as well as one of the co-founders of Lanevision where he serves on the board of Directors as Executive Director. 


 

 


 


 

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, HADYN FISHER

Hadyn began his working career at Standard Bank in 1991. In 1995 in joined Unity Financial Services (one of the 1 st formal micro lenders), as a branch manager in their Pietermaritzburg branch. Unity was one of three micro lenders that merged to become African Bank as it is today. Hadyn worked his way to senior area manager within the African Bank structure. In 2002 he left African Bank to join Kagisano Financial Services as an alliance owner and ran the KZN & Eastern Cape regions. Kagisano was then sold to Blue Financial Services in 2007. Hadyn moved across with the sale and was appointed as Operations Manager SA East. He worked at Blue for a further 2 years and then was appointed at Bayport Financial Services as GM branches. Hadyn left Bayport in early 2012 to join the Waxbill Capital group and was appointed as GM of       their sales division. He left the Waxbill group to join Lanevision as an Executive                                                                             Director as well as PFR Consultants. 


 


 

 

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, CHRIS PELSER

Chris matriculated in the Freestate and moved to the now Gauteng in the early 80's.

Studied at RAU and obtained a Degree in Economics. Chris also obtained a Business Management Diploma, Sales & Marketing Diploma and Management Diploma at Cape Town Graduate School of Business.

Started career at Volkskas Bank in the 70's. Moved into the  insurance industry with Sanlam and African Life. For the past 16 years, Chris was in management within the loan industry with Kagisano Financial Services. Kagisano was then sold and for the past 3 years Chris was appointed as an Executive Director within the Waxbill Capital Group.

Chris resigned in January 2014 and is now an Executive Director at both                                                                                       Lanevision as well as PFR Consultants
